Donation Information

Peninsula Connections for Early Childhood (PCEC) welcomes your financial support. Your contributions will help fund projects undertaken in our community which support children (0-6) and their families.

Donations are processed through Beacon Community Services, a non-profit society. A tax receipt will be issued for all charitable donations to PCEC. If you wish to make a donation or would like information about specific projects, please contact peninsulaconnections@beaconcs.ca for further information.

PCEC "1000 X 5" Children’s Book Recycling Project

The PCEC “1000 X 5” Children’s Book Recycling Project was started in April 2008. Through this initiative, gently-used children’s picture books are collected from the community. The books are delivered to our collection depot where they are screened for suitability, counted, labelled, sorted, and bagged for distribution to young children (birth-5 years) and their families.
