BC Healthy Kids Program

The Healthy Kids Program helps low-income families with costs associated with basic dental care and prescription glasses for their children. Dependent children under 19 years of age, in families approved for premium assistance by the Medical Services Plan (MSP) through the Ministry of Health Services, are automatically registered with the Healthy Kids Program.

Fair Pharmacare

Canadian Tire Jumpstart is a national charitable program that helps financially disadvantaged kids participate in organized sport and recreation. We help cover registration, equipment and/or transportation costs.

KidSport
KidSport Greater Victoria is a local non-profit organization that is part of the KidSport BC and KidSport Canada network of organizations whose goal is to ensure that kids in financial need can participate in a season of sport and physical activities.

PCEC "1000 X 5" Children’s Book Recycling Project
The PCEC “1000 X 5” Children’s Book Recycling Project was started in April 2008. Through this initiative, gently-used children’s picture books are collected from the community. The books are delivered to our collection depot where they are screened for suitability, counted, labelled, sorted, and bagged for distribution to young children (birth-5 years) and their families.
